Article 1 Personal data processed

  1. This privacy statement describes how Boomerang processes the personal data of its users in a general sense.
  2. Personal data processed by Boomerang include:

– NAW data;
– Name and function contact;
– Bank account number (as needed);
– Any personal information provided in writing by the user to Boomerang
provided.

Article 2 (The purpose of) collection and use of personal data

  1. Boomerang collects personal data from a user when the user has provided such personal data to Boomerang, for example, by contacting Boomerang by phone or e-mail or by completing the form to register as a guest or request membership or the contact form on the website.
  2. Boomerang uses this personal data for the purpose for which the user provided the personal data to the firm. Examples include inviting a prospective member to one or more Boomerang meetings, providing information about Boomerang, and/or registering a member with Boomerang with all associated (and resulting) activities.

Article 3 Sharing personal data with third parties

Boomerang only provides personal data to third parties when necessary to perform the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Third parties can be processors or sub-processors (think franchisees) as well as other third parties, such as a system administrator or hosting party of Boomerang’s website. If engaging third parties results in the sharing of your personal data, Boomerang will agree with those third parties that they will comply with all obligations of the AVG.

Article 5 Viewing, modifying or deleting data

  1. Users have the right to view, correct or delete their own personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by Boomerang and you have the right to data portability. This means that the relevant user can make a request to the office to send the personal data the office holds about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
  2. A request to inspect, correct, delete and/or transfer data, a request to withdraw your consent or an objection can be sent toadmin@boomerang-bc.nl.
  3. Boomerang will endeavor to respond within 4 weeks to a user’s request to review, correct, supplement, delete, move and block personal data relating to the user.
  4. To ensure that the user request for access is made, Boomerang will first ask for a copy of your ID. We recommend you use the government’s KopieID app for this purpose and use it to cross out your passport photo the citizen service number.

Article 6 How long personal data will be kept

Boomerang will not retain your personal data longer than strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the personal data are processed, unless Boomerang is required by law to retain personal data longer.

Article 9 Applicable law

Any disputes arising from this Privacy Statement are governed by Dutch law. All disputes between the user and Boomerang shall be submitted to the competent court of the District Court of Noord-Nederland, Groningen location.
